Lazio was an incredibly genuine chap. You get what you pay for and it's so worth the extra couple of quid because he drives efficiently, safely and goes the extra mile. He was kind enough to pick me up from a doctors appointment after dropping me off. He went shopping and messaged to see if I wanted a lift home for an incredibly reduced fee and he waited for me. He was full of conversation and is doing his best in this recession. Don't be quick to judge because of his accent, he is very kind hearted and a true professional. I live locally and have done all my life. He is by far the best. Book him quick because he is a popular chap! Great service. Immaculate Merc. Great driving. I wanted to treat him to a beer! ~ Dan D

Without a doubt, the finest taxi service in Norfolk. Laszlo was very responsive and conscientious via text, email and phone call and was very patient with us not being able to direct him more easily to our pick up point. His Mercedes estate car is very spacious and clean, easily holding all of our camping equipment, with plenty of room to spare. Moreover however he appeared to be an extremely perceptive and open-minded person and a brilliant conversationalist. Our conversation in 30 minutes covered so many topics, from history to music to the basic components of a happy life. But the whole time I was aware that if we should have wanted to stop talking, he would have understood. The rate that he gave us for our journey was exceptional, especially considering how much longer the job was for him, given we didn't give clear enough instructions on how to find us. Sunday 7th April 2024, my wife and I booked to see a show at Cromer pier we called Top Taxi and booked a slot at 7.00 pm. Laszlo our driver arrived promptly he was extremely courteous by opening both rear doors for us. His Mercedes was very clean and well maintained, Laszlo dropped us off at the foot of Cromer pier and picked us up promptly from the same place really giving us the VIP treatment at a very good price, unlike some taxi operators who feel they need to rip off a tourist with extortionately high fares. We both highly recommend Top Taxi our first and only choice for a taxi in and around Cromer. ~ paul c

We recently got married at Voewood, High Kelling just outside of Holt. We used Laszlo's services for the four days around the wedding whilst we were in Norfolk, enjoying the local towns, pubs and seaside jaunts. Laszlo was a pleasure to deal with, always on time, charging extremely fair rates and happy to be flexible when plans changed. We would thoroughly recommend his services to anyone visiting the local area as a big group, a wedding or wanting to get about the local area as he is very reliable. We used Laszlo's Taxi service for a very special surprise birthday party event requiring both saloon and mini-bus locally. Laszlo's Taxis delivered a brilliant service, in terms of punctuality - a priority because of the timing for when people arrived at the venue. The vehicles were spotlessly clean and driven calmly and safely. The drivers were friendly and polite. Charges were extremely reasonable. Laszlo agreed to take a party of 8 of us, all pensioners, to the Gunton Arms for a birthday celebration. He collected us from our holiday accommodation at 6pm and brought us back at 10 pm. Everything went like clockwork. Laszlo's time keeping was impeccable, his people carrier was immaculate and he was the perfect gentleman, showing great patience and providing us with all the help we required. We used Laszlo’s taxi firm when we were on holiday in Cromer. I rang around a few taxi companies and Laszlo was not only the most reasonably priced but also very polite on the phone. His service on the trips we used him for was exemplary; punctual and knowledgeable. He is also great company, a professional healer, carer and Grandfather as well as a first rate business owner! I had the pleasure of booking 6 taxi trips across 3 days in early July with Top Taxi Norfolk and Laszlo. A group of us were in Cromer for a friend’s wedding over a long weekend, and we needed to make multiple trips back and forth between Cromer and Gresham. Laszlo was highly organised, clearly managing our expectations about which times were and weren’t possible. He was able to accommodate our large group with the use of his mini-van, but I understand he has another car for smaller groups. He was always punctual, arriving on time for each collection. Laszlo was patient and generous in his manner, always helping us into his mini-van and lowering the van’s mechanical step to allow for safe onboarding and off-boarding. We booked our trips with Laszlo at short notice - our group should have been better organised - and we couldn’t have been happier and more fortunate to have received his services. Should we ever find ourselves in Cromer for another occasion in the future, we would be more than happy to call upon Laszlo’s taxi services once again. ~ Martin C

Laszlo provided us with an excellent service on our recent holiday in Norfolk. We had a very rainy day trip to Wells, Laszlo was super helpful with loading the car up (we had 2 kids & seats to fit plus bags) and he was really accommodating with our timings. He also did us a trip to Cromer for dinner and recommended a place for a drink. Laszlo is so friendly and lovely to talk to, we hope to see him again next time we are in Norfolk! While on holiday in Cromer my husband and I used this taxi firm a couple of times. On the day we came back after arriving at cromer station our train to Norwich had been cancelled and as we had a connection for our next train so we needed to get there and unable to wait an hour for the next one.So I rang Laszlo and Allen took us to Norwich and we arrived fifteen minutes before our next train was due. We booked Top Taxi Norfolk for an airport drop off and pick up. Laszlo was excellent, very professional, courteous and a good driver. Pick up and drop off was on time, Laszlo even managed to get to the airport earlier than scheduled to meet our flight when we arrived early. The minibus was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. We booked Top Taxi Norfolk to take us to and from Heathrow. We needed a 2.30am pick up from home. We were not disappointed. The driver was with us on time, he loaded our luggage and took us. An excellent airport pickup from Heathrow. Laszlo greeted our family with a friendly smile as we came through the arrivals door. He asked if we wanted a hot drink and snack before setting off on the journey home. Together with our 8 suitcases and bags, we travelled in his spacious executive mini bus, which was extremely comfortable. We made a good choice. Laszlo was on time and very friendly from the start. He chatted most of the way from the hotel in Overstrand to Cromer Pier and we were impressed with his mastery of English. Laszio arrived with the 8 seater perfectly on time on Saturday evening to take our family to the opening night of the Cromer pier show! Personel service, friendly and clean comfortable taxi. Helped my parents into the vehicle and was amazing service....appearing again at the end to take us home perfectly on time! Laszlo was brilliant from start to finish. His communication was excellent throughout and he always got back to us within a matter of hours. Having spent the weekend in the NNUH and having to go to London today for a 3 hour appointment, but still feeling rather unwell, I changed my plans and decided to get a taxi. Which I am so glad I did, especially being nil by mouth, I really wouldn’t of managed the trains and tubes. Laszlo met me at home, on time, very smart, polite and kind gentleman. He made sure I got to the correct area in the hospital, after my 3 hour appointment he was waiting for me to assist me back to the car so I didn’t have to walk around London alone. As a young female I felt completely safe, which is highly important to me, his car was very comfortable and I felt generally cared for from start to end. Will 100% always use him again in future and would recommend him to anyone needing a good reliable service. Thank you so much for today, you really took all the anxiety I had out of the day and it was so nice to leave my appointment in the centre of London and get straight back in the car to return to Norfolk. As a parent myself I always think would I be happy for my child to use this service and feel confident that they would be safe and cared for, and the answer is 100% yes. An excellent description for the service we received from our return trip to London in June ‘26. Our driver, Laszlo, drove us from North Norfolk to central London in a very comfortable Mercedes, and returned punctually to collect us 48 hours later. Laszlo drove an elderly celebrity from deepest Suffolk to the top of Norfolk for us during the weekend for our festival at Wells Maltings. He was helpful, communicative and organised, always answered the phone and gave us a good price in advance so we could budget for our expenses. We would definitely ask him again. ~ vicky r
